In order to provide formal participation of faculty, staff, and students in the governance of the School of Health Sciences, the operating paper is set forth. Our experienced and dedicated faculty and staff give students the knowledge and hands-on learning experience essential to prepare them for positions in the growing health care field. We teach, research, mentor and inspire the health care professionals of tomorrow, helping them reach their career goals and fulfill their dreams.

B.S. in Accounting and History, Truman State University, 1997. Ian started out as an Office Systems Assistant at the Department of Zoology in 1998. Before coming to the School of Health Sciences, he was most recently an Office Administrator for the Rehabilitation Institute, where he was employed from 2007 to 2019.

Background: Current graduate student at SIUC. In December 2024, she joined the School of Health Sciences as an Academic Advisor for the Dental Hygiene and Radiologic Sciences Programs. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Elizabeth started out as a Researcher with Project 12-Ways here on the campus of Southern Illinois University Carbondale from 2021-2024. Elizabeth has worked as an academic advisor with the College of Health and Human Sciences since April of 2025.

At SIU Since 2020. Education: B.A. in Philosophy– Southern Illinois University M.F.A. Mass Communications and Media Arts Background: Mike earned his BA in Philosophy and his MFA from the College of Mass Communications and Media Arts, both at Southern Illinois University.

Mike earned his BA in Philosophy and his MFA from the College of Mass Communications and Media Arts, both at Southern Illinois University. He has taught classes in the Humanities, media history and media production at both SIU and Lindenwood University. Mike joined the Undergraduate Science Advisement staff in January 2020.

In 2017, he joined the School of Health Sciences as an academic advisor for the Dental Hygiene and Radiologic Sciences programs. In his free time he enjoys spending time with family and friends.
